Thirty people are confirmed and one is received into the Anglican Church at the diocesan confirmation service at St. James Cathedral on May 7. The people came from the following churches: St. Theodore of Canterbury, St. Peter, Erindale, St. Timothy, Agincourt, St. Paul the Apostle, Rexdale, St. Aidan, Toronto, Church of the Resurrection, All Saints, Whitby, Christ Church, Stouffville, St. John, Norway, St. Jude, Bramalea North and Grace Church on-the-Hill. Bishop Riscylla Shaw gave the homily.
