The bishops and their spouses, along with the diocese’s archdeacons and canon administrator, exchange greetings with well-wishers at the annual Bishop’s Levee at St. James Cathedral on Jan. 1. The afternoon event, held to offer best wishes and prayers for the New Year, included a worship service, the traditional receiving line and reception, a ringing of the cathedral’s bells, festive music, and the presentations of the Order of the Diocese of Toronto.
