David Kent, publisher of The St. Thomas Poetry Series, cuts the cake to celebrate 35 years of poetry readings at St. Thomas, Huron Street, on April 22. The evening featured the launch of Church Grammar, a book of poetry by Bruce Meyer, and readings by Lesley-Anne Evans and Bruce Hunter. About 60 people attended the event. Poetry readings began at the church in 1988, and Mr. Kent started The St. Thomas Poetry Series, a publishing house of Christian poetry, in 1996. Church Grammar is the 33rd book published by The St. Thomas Poetry Series. Photos courtesy of St. Thomas, Huron Street.
We look ahead with great hope
